Savannah Baroque presents “Le Donne in Musica“, a concert performed on period instruments featuring evocative works that celebrate women including selections by Elizabeth Jacquet de la Guerre, Isabella Leonarda, Thomas Arne, Handel, Titelouze, Heredia, and William Byrd.
Saturday, May 17, 2017 with two performances at 12 noon and 7 p.m., one will surely fit your schedule.

Savannah Baroque is the area’s only period instrument, historically informed performance (HIP) Baroque ensemble. We are so fortunate to have a fabulous roster of performers including the stunningly beautiful and moving voices of Ashley Roper and Tina Zenker Williams in duets and solos, as well our tremendous instrumentalists: Marcy Jean Brenner on viola da gamba; Jeana Melilli, baroque flute; Ann Cafferty, baroque violin; and Anne Acker on harpsichord.
$20 general admission, $15 students and 65+, group pricing available.
